Standard claimed
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1, Level AA, and, where practical, to WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
Scope
This statement applies to the Manhattan Beach Hotel website at manhattan-beach-hotel.com. When the property's online reservation system is in place, we will audit and document that flow separately. In the meantime, please book by phone or email — we respond the same day.
Known limitations
- The masthead at the top of the page is slightly translucent over the hero photograph. Automated contrast scanners may flag the start of the page; in practice the photograph behind the masthead provides the visual contrast that keeps the title readable.
- We have not yet completed a screen-reader test on the Japanese-language page. Planned before public launch.
Property accessibility
Manhattan Beach Hotel is a small, historic motel. Some rooms and the roof deck are reachable only by stairs. If you have specific mobility, vision, or hearing requirements, please call ahead and we will match you to a room that fits your needs. Service animals are always welcome.
